These incredible pictures show two elephants engaged in a fight to display their dominance.

Photographers Laurent Renaud and Dominique Haution, both 62, of Douai, Northern France, captured the images at the Amboseli National Park in Kenya.

The scrap between the two males will determine the outcome for hierarchy in the herd.

Laurent said: “It’s very impressive to see the power of these animals, and these two boys are among the biggest tuskers in the park.

More of a chase than a fight. The presence of a couple of impressive tuskers shows that anti-poaching efforts are working.

  • @xoxoheartz

Laurent seems more defensive and just trying to walk away and defuse the situation.. But Dominique seems like the aggressor looking for a fight, and won’t let up.

It looks like somebody brought a switch blade to a sword fight. Lol

Another documentary where I watch two bull elephants about to fight and in the middle of a fight when suddenly vehicle engine sound and people's voice and camera clicking sound disturbs the action .

They have been a part of me since I was 3 crying over poaching videos. I love these animals! Most unique giants on land!

If the title of this video did not include "CAUGHT ON CAMERA", then how could we have known that this video was captured by a camera?
  • @Halbared
Love the cheeky lil look back as he tears off.

one is in Drive mode other one is in reverse gear 😂
  • I think the one who lost thought about taking his aggression out on the safari people, but the winner was like “oh I see you still have some fight left in you!” 😂😂😂
  • @user-gm2pi3hj1k
Only just started watching but I think Dominique definitely has the advantage in the tusk department

I hate the camera clicking sound, at least while watching the forest videos. Is there a way to mute the camera sound?

This is an awesome sight to behold, especially when the 2nd elephant (on the left) is smarter to have backed out after seeing two mammoth tusks & even not engaging with puny humans on their toy machines, because this mammoth tusks of other elephant could have poked 2 holes in its butt, if it would have shown misplaced anger towards humans, for loosing a fight to a overmatched & experienced rival.
