Nicely done guys I enjoyed the video. 🇺🇸
  • Good to see you guys again together 😊. I’ve watched the Spanish detectorist
  • @simonwoodward96
I think Simon's mysterious bronze piece from about 14 min in is the side plate off a fliintlock pistol or rifle? Maybe one that had some rapid unplanned disassembly.
  • @bryazz
Love the badge. Shout out from Northern England. 😊
  • @donreed417
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. I'll let you pick which is which. 😂Good coin day. Saw Simon's good video from the abbey. Well done guys

Pity no gold/silver but still some coins so can’t complain John.thank you for detecting in the rain 👍
  • @pb1545
Well done John! Many coins 🎉🎉🎉 I’m waiting for Jethro program so i can try it🤞🤞🤞
  • I think the pipe bowl will turn white with time. They come out grey to black and then turn white as they dry. I am from America and hearing the accents in this video is great. We don’t find anything older than 15th century here unless it’s an arrowhead or stone tools which don’t show up on the Deus 2. I had that same detector, I was paralyzed by an infection in my spine. Turns out I’m such a screwup that my paralysis is reversing. I’m learning to walk again at 54 years old. Cheers to yourself and Mr. Simon. Keep digging!

Hi John and Simon, great finds, rotten weather oh well you can't have everything but I often think, why not? Maybe one day eh! Cheers!!:hand-pink-waving::face-blue-smiling::virtualhug::yougotthis:🥰😘😘👍👍👍🙏

Well done John, certainly alot of George V coins. Coincidentally my first hole last week was a ring-pull like the one you dug. Simon's find was the end of a penknife I reckon.

Blessings, my Scottish Detectorist friend…and sidekick the Spanish Detectorist, from this old man in Tennessee. Glad to see you out, even playing in the rain. A great coin day…King George the 5th would be proud.

If I was there I would stand outside in the rain with my arms raised to the sky because it hasn't rained appreciably here in New Mexico, USA for five or six years. Never even wets the ground which is now hard baked and quite unforgiving. Good thing you aren't detecting here. You would have to pour a couple buckets water and let it soak in every time you got a target or no hole. As usual, thanks for taking us along. It is always enjoyable. ❤️
  • I love it when the copper coins go green. I did find a sixpence turned red, so must be the soil type to affect it.
  • @treasurearth
True treasure hunters plugging through the rains. Good thing the Deus 2 is waterproof up to 60ft. needed that today. 🤣 Great job and finds. Thanks for sharing as always.
