If you’re experiencing any kind of changes in your body (and it doesn’t have to be potentially cancer-related) here is the list of important things to keep track of for talking with your doctor in order to help figure out what is going on:
1) when did the symptoms start
2) is there anything you do that makes it better or worse
3) what is the quality of the symptom or pain (such as is it dull or sharp pain, is there blood in the toilet or in your stool)
4) if there is pain, does it start in one place then radiate to another
5) how severe is the pain
6) how long the symptoms last
