Yeah most clips are from Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars.
The other was from Suburban Commando.

Too bad The Valeyard wasn't mentioned. Whatever. I WAS FROZEN TODAY!

You all have to remember that by this point the Doctor has lost so much and so many. Everyone he has ever cared for is gone. Everything he's ever loved, vanished. And of all places in history, he lands in a tragedy. The thought of watching someone else die is too much for him to bear. He goes a little mad. He convinces himself that he can control time. Anyone who has seen and endured what he has, 900 plus years of heartache and pain, would, undoubtedly go a little insane

“Doctor, please save us!” Doctor saves them “No, not like that!”

@m1ggyzzz i think its showing that he realized that he was going bad. also, technically he's a different person. also, he does have some parts where he gets angry such as the beast below, the pandorica opens, and a good man goes to war

TO VICTORY, THE TIME LORD VICTORIOUS FIGHTS AGAINST TIME ITSELF AND THE WATERS OF MARS!!! HAIL THE DOCTOR
  • even a God cannot change destiny and the rules of time.

@KoolMovies1001 He's supposedly the dark side of the doctor in tangible form. Gallifreyan form, to be exact XD
  • @m1ggyzzz Well, actually, I think the Doctor learned that he couldn't control time; he was not the literal 'lord' of it. That really beats him down a bit, since he'd had that idea growing in him for so long. So, when he regenerates - since that is the evidence of the power of time, even over a time-lord - he would have been sort of put in his place. Which ushers in the Doctor of Matt Smith - the bored, the defeated, the old. Maybe that's why he is so shocked to find that time can be re-written.

I think it was like he was saying, "the Time War was a war to say who's view controls history and since I won, I get to say what's right and what's wrong, its my view that rules! And now history will obey ME! Thats when the Tardis alarm starts going off, it only goes off when something is deathly wrong with time and he is the one that can change that, at a price. Still, whats the use of a time machine if it doesn't help people?
  • I know the Doctor's a bit mental and OOC... but seriously great acting from David Tennant, Soundtrack as well XD

@m1ggyzzz Did you not see "Amy's Choice"?
  • @bobthefishofdoom
thats the point. its not just the stuff he has done that has put the silence against him. its all the things he will do. they are like rive song they meet the doctor at different points in his life so though he has just started fighting them they have been fighting him for years.

@OCoptimusconvoy He gets better at the end of the episode. This is just a brief moment of insanity.
  • @Shellewell
He's the winner... Just like Charlie Sheen
  • @GZilla311
@OCoptimusconvoy He HAS killed species, though. But he's generally a good guy.

@Rahhelthethird I honestly think the Eleventh Doctor is dealing with the guilt of not just having to destroy Gallifrey, but moments like this. I think he realizes he really did go too far and has a lot of self-loathing as a result of it. Especially after little hints like The God Complex, he's more afraid of the Valeyard than ever.
