Lol. Chief…..you have no idea what you stumbled upon. I’m a 47 year old male , husband, and father of two. My 12 year old daughter got me into BTS about 1 year ago. These dudes are for real. Each one of them can thrive alone but they chose not to. They understand that together, they can achieve more. They bring in to South Korea $3.6 billion dollars annually. They are the biggest and best group in our era. Yet, they are the most humble, down to earth group. They always give back to their fans. 💯 💜💜💜
  • I'm a 47 year old white male and love these guys. No other music is like theirs, so much better than American artists
  • @MrKyledane
I'm also an older fan (52), introduced by my child, but I wanted to mention something you can't see in this video. BTS is, at their core, a live band. Absolutely at their best performing before a full on, enthusiastic audience. I have seen them live twice and they are AMAZING in-person. The energy generated between the 7 guys and a sixty-to-eighty thousand strong ARMY audience is something you just have to be there to believe it.
  • I’m a 68 year old Hispanic female and I am totally awed by these boys/men. Get ready to be blown away by their dancing, singing and live performances!!!
  • @BetterGreta13
The guy "with the swag" is RM, the leader of the group. The other two rappers are J-Hope (first one) and Suga (sue me). There are four vocalists, V, Jin, Jimin, and Jung Kook. They are an incredibly talented and deep band with a huge fandom called ARMY that consists of all ages. They do sing love songs, too, but most of their songs are filled with deep lyrics about mental health and other issues. They write their own stuff, produce their own stuff. They are amazing. Ages are now 25-30, but they started as a group in 2013. Thanks fo9r reacting to them!!
  • I am a 56 year old male ARMY. BTS is for EVERYONE! Their talent transcends race and musical genres. It was such an incredible feeling when I fell down the BTS rabbit hole. I will never regret it! 💜💜
  • @erilluu
I'm a 35 yr old ARMY, been with bts since the very beginning and your comment section has me in tears seeing all the stories of ppl's lives bts has touched, especially the older generations. Our boys are special and for everything they've given us we give them back the same love, we are family regardless of the drama, haters and solo stans. All 7 of them deserve love equally.
  • Your reaction genuinely cracked me up. Its so fun to watch that "Ah-ha" moment people get when they see how wrong their pre-conceived notions were about this group. These guys are all around great and the fans are all ages, races and backgrounds. I am 51 year old wife, mother of 2, pharmacist living in Tennessee lol...see, this group can really reach all kinds of people everywhere. I was introduced to them by my daughter who was 11 or 12 at the time (14 now) and I have been a die-hard ARMY (the name of their fandom, btw) ever since. The guy you wanted to know the name of that came out of the back of that truck was RM, he's the official leader of the group (which has nothing to do with their role in the music but more to do with his role in speaking on behalf of the group to the company and vice versa, keeping things going as they should, he is fluent in English so tends to do a lot of the English interviews and things like that). They all participate equally and are equally talented in terms of the music. There are 3 rappers: (RM, the one you asked about, Suga, the 2nd guy that rapped in this song, and J-hope the rapper that started out the song. And there are 4 vocalists: JK, V, Jimin, and Jin. The vocalists came in mostly on the chorus sections in this particular song. This group is one that has no genre they really do it all: rap, hip/hop, soul, ballads, pop, funk, you name it really and they likely have something in that lane. They are all excellent dancers and do so in many styles of dance as well. Most of their music has EXTREMELY hard choreographed dances that go with them which gives another layer of entertainment watching their content. All three of the rappers have solo albums that you could check out if you're more into rap but their group songs have a perfect blend of rap and vocals in most all of their songs and I think you will really enjoy diving deeper into their music. I enjoyed your reaction and look forward to seeing you react to more of their music. If you do, I'll be here for it. Thanks for giving them a chance despite your initial hesitation.

I'm a 53 year old African American grandmother. BTS helped me get out of covid fatigue (seemed like it would NEVER end) this past January. I had to find out who the group in the Samsung commercial was and I've been hooked ever since. They are so real and down to earth and that's one of the reasons I love them. I don't go a day without listening to them! 💜💜💜
  • 9:50 that is RM, the esteemed leader of BTS, the Optimus Prime, the Mr President himself. IQ 148, he's the main songwriter and lyricist of BTS, hold the second highest credits in the KOMCA Korean Music Copyright Association. A modern day poet, gave excellent speeches in which one of his United Nation's speech were quoted, studied and even included in some country's academic curriculum. As BTS's first member, the company's chairman literally build the group BTS around RM. He is indeed a prodigy and wise beyond his years

This comment section it's so wholesome! I'm just so, so glad older people also enjoy BTS music ! The majority of the fandom are between their 20's and 50's and it's so awesome ! Old dope people, i want to be like y'all when I get older. I'm 21 years old, and I'm sure I'll keep loving and listening to BTS, I'll keep being part of this awesome, big, and diverse family until the day I die. Army forever, spread love 💜 (Sorry for my english) greetings from Venezuela 🇻🇪
  • Thank you all male armys, specially over 40. Sometimes I feel a bit ridiculous for loving this boys, I dont have kids so they are my babies. I am a 1 year old Army and 40 year old female. My dream is to attend a concert it must be amazing
  • @zincklesX
I'm no little girl chasing BTS. I'm a 50-year-old who has been ARMY (BTS Fandom Name) Since 2017. Mic drop was the first song to introduce me to BTS, That moment on they have become my forever ARTIST! Majority of BTS ARMY are over 25 all the way up to 80 years old that I have seen, younger than 25 are the minority. If you dive more into BTS I hope you will begin to understand why BTS are loved. They are 7 amazing, talented, genuine and humble guys who are unbelievably more amazing in their live performances. Yes, they sing, rap and dance and better yet all at the same time. They are involved in producing and writing in the majority of their songs. They have over 300+ songs in their discography not including dance practices, if you love the dancing and many live performances and online concerts. Their genres include: Hip hop, R&B, Ballads, Soft Rock, EDM, Latin, Pop, Funk, Trap, Country, Dubstep and more. Will subscribe in hopes of you checking out more BTS. Enjoyed your reaction had me chuckling at times 😆Thank you for checking out the boys. 💜
  • I'm a 76 year old grandma and totally in love with these guys. Their fandom includes all ages. They helped me out of a major depression and they have done the same for untold numbers of others. They do about every genre of music so everybody can find something to like if they just give them a chance. Their songs have deep meanings and they tackle subjects like mental illness that other folks won't touch. They are one of a kind. Never has been anyone like them and never will be again. Other folks on here have named some songs to check out so I won't repeat them. Do agree you should check out their performance of Run BTS at Busan concert. Also one of my favorites is Baepsae which deals with young people expected to keep up with impossible expectations. I must warn you once you fall down the BTS rabbit hole there will be no escape.
  • i am 73 year old grandma that loves BTS and have watch them grow up into fine young gentlemen. I will continue to love and support them no matter what
  • You can never really appreciate the genius that is RM until you listen to "Joke". Its an absolute masterpiece. Truly
  • as a male fan,it's sometimes hard to make people realize that l don't listen to "girly" songs since l am a bts fan.Bts has songs of every genres and their hip hop songs are gold.Their lyrics are different from western artists and l have never heard them making meaningless music.Every song has a meaning and thats what attracts me the most.If a song is good, you will listen to it but if the meaning is good,it will touch your heart and make you more emotionally connected.Poeple really misunderstand them all the time.I can definitely say that they are the most controversial boyband of the time, they are the most loved but at the same time most hated group too.And it hurts when the hate only comes from prejudices that sometimes borders on racism.Good to see that you gave them a try.I don't want people to become bts fans overnight, but it would've been better if people respected them for their hard work and didn't judge their fans either
  • @Mehm12
There is a reason why BTS is the biggest group in the world. They are even more incredible live. If you want to see how they perform on stage with all these dance moves I’m sending links to a couple of performances from their concerts. The first one is for Mic Drop in the Wembley Stadium, London in 2019. The other is for the song called Run BTS performed very recently, last week, in Busan, South Korea. Run BTS talks about their journey, their career in the last 10 years. The last rapper mentions the names of the 7 members thanking them for all their hard work and to be ready to continue this journey for a long time.
  • I’m a 56 year old female army and I love BTS. The rapper is RM or Kim Namjoon and if you liked this song, you’ve just opened a Pandora’s box filled with only the good stuff. I personally like DOPE, Pied Piper, Danger, Blood sweat and tears, The truth untold, fake love, not today, ddaeng, and well you get the picture. I look forward to seeing your world change with every new song you hear. Enjoy!
  • @TRACYWSCOTT
Welcome to the World of BTS! I'm a 59-yo female and discovered BTS during Covid, and they really helped get me through the tough times of the shutdown. They're an amazing group of young men, whose talents complement each other! They're lightning in a bottle, for sure!
