Okay but the idea of "I need to confess that I plotted and schemed to get with you" being met with "Oh, I know" is really adorable and sweet? You know someone's your perfect match when they've seen through you the whole time and it just makes them love you more.

This song is so cute in the fact that she acts like she's scheming her way into this love, but he knew the whole time and he loved her for it. It was always meant to be, her plans set the motion forward but he was always the one either way.

I love this song so much. It reminds me so much of how my wife truly changed my life. The first day I met her, I knew I will marry her. She blew me away on our first meeting. 16 years late, she still blows me away. Taylor seems to always have a song that makes me cry on every album. This is the song. Truly happy tears this time. I love how the lyric video kept going forward through the clockwork designs while Taylor was saying that she plotted it all along without the guy knowing her plot. Or so she thought. Then when the guy was like, “I knew it along”, the lyric video went back all the way out, symbolizing that it was game over for Taylor’s schemes.
