'The Look', Tennessee Walker oil painting by Sue Steiner

I'm sorry- I moved my studio around and keep forgetting the better shoulder to video tape over so I apologize for the views of the back of my head. Next time I'll switch shoulders. :)

This is an oil painting painted over a textured acrylic background. I really liked the geometric shapes embedded in the background. I will take some photos to add to this video soon so you can see that effect.

Thanks for stopping by! This paintinging is of my gelding that will go in my new office space. I have my messy art studio & my theoretically neat office space now. My other 2 horses' artwork are hung in there so I couldn't leave Cimarron out! This painting reminds me of the 1st time I say him. He was in cross ties in the aisle way, waiting to be saddled. I approached him and put my hand out so he could smell me. He initially had a bit of a stand off-ish look, but smelled my hand, took a big sigh, and dropped his head. My heart melted. :) I also noticed his white eyelashes. Cim and I have had many great times on the trail. He takes good care of me.
