Team rebuilds a engine in 30 minutes. See the team take a hole engine and replace the pistons, rods, piston sleeves, clutch, heads and many more parts in 30 minutes.

Wow...now that's teamwork! Crazy to think they would do this meticulous procedure 3 to 4 times a race!

the worst thing about racing is the mechanics are the real heroes of the sport and nobody ask for their autographs without them racing would not happen. SO GIVE THE HEROS BEHIND THE SCENES THE GLORY AND KUDOS THEY DESERVE.

The crew members are straight up STUDS and the unsung heroes...amazing talent 😎
  • The driver works for four seconds, and the real workers are those guys. Respect for all of them.
  • @fivepin55
mad props to the guy who spent the entire time under the car.

As much as I wanted to see Brit and Court, thanks for sticking with the guys! I respect what they are doing!

To whomever made this video I really do appreciate your time and effort in getting the engine rebuild. I'm from Seattle and a Force fan. Thanks 100!!!

Thanks so much for sticking around and filming the full tear down and rebuild process - much appreciated!

This was like watching an orchestra in perfect harmony. Wow, beautiful.

Imagine if the US government could work that efficiently

These guys are the very best of the best in the motor racing world. Doing complete tear downs, rebuilds and all under the watchful eyes of NHRA officials. John Forces team is buck. These guys just rock. 🔧🧰

Those guys are insane. I have alot of respect for those gentlemen. 👍

Notice: not much talking during the re-build. They have a job and have forty-five minutes to do it and that is all they do. No playing around..very professional.

Thanks for posting this. Most Point Of View vids stop after they get the heads off. Its nice to have a full length video which shows the whole process.

So much of my life's best memories has been attending drag racing events across Europe and the US. Like this, I'd just stand there in awe and watch these guys tear the motor down and rebuild it., then run from crew to crew as they leak test and set the motor for the next run. They say smell can trigger memories, for me, the sound of the ratchet gun, a blower spinning up before engine fire up, and the change in sound the engine makes when it switches over to nitro......always bring an automatic smile and takes me back :-) Thanks for posting!

Dang! I wanted to hear them fire it up after all that symphony of motion!

This is awesome... I worked for the nhra as staff and security when they was in NH... It was amazing... Those funny cars are crazy loud.

Unreal that this team is perfected to the point they can almost build blindfolded.
  • I'm a sports car guy. I go to the IMSA, SCCA, and SCDA races at my local track. (Lime Rock Park) I drive a souped up little Miata that's in the barn for the Winter. I have never really understood that peculiar American invention; the drag race. However, I stand in dumb-struck awe of NHRA mechanics. For my money, they are the real wizards on race day. Adendum; John Force has more money invested in torque wrenches than I do in my whole tool kit.

Damn. I wish this video would have gone all the way to re capping the car's outer again. I wanted to use it as a way to show how the best teams of people interact. You see how they all just naturally know their jobs? Very little back and forth discussion, zero bosses acting like bosses. Just a true team getting the job done together. It was a symphony!
