In the 50s and early 60s, a janitor could buy a modest house, have kids and the wife stayed home and raised them.

Four years at a job and still at minimum wage? That's unacceptable

The real reason why most company's are paying low wages? Greed. It's all about "GREED".

Precarious jobs, precarious pay but the rich just keep getting richer at everyone else's expense.

Damn, I thought Canada was doing well. I would never have thought of this country as poor.
  • One day I arrived in a food bank. A woman very lovely asked me. Do you want a soup. I said. I wanna a job. She replied. You are so ambitious. I left Canada for good.

The problem starts with " Too big to fail" instead of jail for the fraud banks should have be liable for .....

I'm 42 working less than 20 hours, thank goodness I don't have any kids or else it would be worse. Sometimes I have to go to a food bank.

Raising the minimum wage doesn't really help anyone. They raised the minimum in Alberta, all it did was raise the cost of living. Food, clothing, rent, fees, we are right back where we started. Actually worst, less jobs and hours cut...

Why Canada hands out to other countries while Canadians are struggling. Economy is no.1 goal not the aim of reducing CO2 emission. Canadians needs new leadership.

LOL...My mother moved to Canada because "They have more job opportunities up there" I said "The grass is not greener on the other side, sure it's a different kind of grass but it's the same color.

How many times in the last year have you wondered... "What if it happens to me? What if I lose my job?" Who could blame you? More and more Canadians are barely hanging on.
