X4: Foundations is the latest title in the popular X series of space simulation / sandbox games, played as action games from a first-person perspective in a living breathing universe, with TRADE FIGHT BUILD THINK as the common tag-line. X4: Foundations is unique in its depth, simulating an entire universe of NPC ships and stations, forming a realistic economy. It consists of a huge universe, simulated from the bottom up. Hundreds of stations, and thousands of ships, trade goods among themselves. Prices change based on supply and demand; resources are mined and processed in several stages. This economy is linked directly to the simulation of major conflicts in a universe with dynamically-acting factions. Every player decision can dramatically change the future of the game universe. Step in and live your very own space adventure!

SOB. I've been playing this game for years. I didn't know that comms trick to find your way to sectors. Thanks!
  • I love this moment "Your co-pilot is capable of space wizardry, but is camera shy so if your looking he wont do it". Hahahahaha. Thank you for the tutorial and the clean humor!

Hey man, I am not sure if you still check the comments, but I wanted to let you know that even in 2023 your videos are a HUUUUUGE help, to newer players like me! Many thanks and kudos to you, they are really short and efficient considering the topic :)
  • Great guide for beginners. I would say that "Not looking" is vital for so many parts of the game. Your entire AI fleet, except for when they are in wing combat with you - only really work if you are not looking. Because it is all abstracted. If you look, they will bash into stations, ignore objectives and probably destroy themselves in some crazy way.

I watched like 100 videos about guides and tutorials. But Yours was most helpful of them all. Easy, short and understandable. Hope i will find more in your vids. Subscribed. 👍🏻💯

By far the most helpful & concise 5 minute video on X4 I've ever watched!

Thank you for this, and thank you for your 'style' (way of speaking, no annoying music, to-the-point, etc.). Just downloaded the game yesterday (3/16/2022) and these videos will undoubtedly keep me from uninstalling due to frustration. Thank you!
  • I've been waiting for X4 to go on sale and just bought it and all three DLCs for 46USD (yay sales). I wanted a spoiler free "quick tips for new players" before I dive in tomorrow after work and you sir, uploaded a 11 out of 10. Thank you and well done.

One of the best beginner vids I've seen for X4. Clear, easy to understand, doesn't over- or under- explain anything. Thank you for this, and your other vids (which I'm about to dive into). And that joke about the 50s gave me a good chuckle.
  • @Ghorum
Man there is so much to learn as a pilot coming from the X3 games. Thank you for such a fantastic guide
  • @pHixiq
