This is basically my theory for the reserve course here, as well as Mabel's and Timmy's friendship here. As well as Buttercup's potential involvement .
Also at the first scene, Timmy recognizes Mabel knitting a sweater with a game character he knows, and Mabel gets excited he knows about it.
The final scene would happen after Timmy makes a deal with Bill and is going to sign up for the project at Hope's Peak.
Also potential theory:
Maybe the reason Ford isn't a teacher at Hope's Peak, is maybe because Luke Munakuta he has a feeling the school's doing shady things behind the scenes, and maybe has Mrs. Wakeman helping. Would explain why she's one of the only teachers we see kidnapped.
