Thank you for this video. I’m a newbie to Roomba and can’t find the manual, so I didn’t even know how to empty the dustbin!

The yellow caps on the brush ends come off as well so you can clean under them

My 690 came with a small red tool for cleaning brushes. Personally, I empty the dustbin after each trip around the house and rinse the filter once a week.

You should be emptying the bin after EVERY use.

Ok I may be messy but that’s not the same as dirty . That is nasty man

You can wash the filter been doing that to my 595, soap and water on white part just let dry. Brushes get replaced when they wear down not touching the ground, rubber when develops tears. Starr brush when it breaks buy can air to blow everything out. You really need to remove back cover and gear box blowing it out, 3 times year

Hi I wonder if you can actually wash the blue filter under the water for this model? Thx
  • Hi there. Can i please ask you a question? I can't find this info in the manual. Once my roomba goes to base, the green light on the base comes on and then it goes off! Also all the lights on the unit itself goes off... So i don't know if it is charging or it is defective. Is it supposed to do this? I thought the green light on tbm base would always stay on. Thanks.

I can’t really see when you lift “a stick” to empty the dirt tray and remove the filter. I hope you can be details on that part 😐

My roomba runs out of power and can’t get back to the base to recharge. What could be the problem?
