  • I love everything you said. I’m moving from Texas to Jackson area next year, when my wife retires. I’m retired and we have visited Mississippi several times and loved the beauty, culture and people. Mississippi was the best kept secret.
  • Enjoyed your video, man. Agree with you on a lot of the things you said. I wasn’t born and bred here, in Virginia actually, but have lived here for five years now. Met an amazing Mississippi girl and moved down here to Florence to be with her. Getting used to the humidity and how bad the mosquitoes get were the biggest things for me at first. Nothing like getting to jump in your backyard pool late on a hot August night with your woman though. Never had water feel more amazing to be in. Love this state and absolutely do not regret the decision to come here.
  • Thanks for your videos! Although I don't like Massachusetts, there are still something's I am sad to leave. Whenever I feel that way, I watch your videos and get excited again about moving back there. By the way, I am grateful for the Mississippi's bad reputation. it keeps all the people from New York, California, MA, etc. from moving here like they are Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, and Florida.
  • I was born in Tn but live here in ms. I could not imagine being raised without guns.I was probably about five when I knew how to shoot, gun safety. It was a normal as breathing.

I never heard much good about Mississippi and was not thrilled when the company I worked for told me I was being transferred to Mississippi. That was back in 1981. Well, I must tell you that after I moved here I began to see that all I thought was bad about Mississippi was not true. Now 42 years later, I love living here. Over the years things have gotten better and better. I am now retired and I think I am living in the house I will die in. I see no reason to move anywhere else. Attitude is everything.
  • I’m from Bay Saint Louis MS and have been living in California for the majority of my adult life. I love how “go with the flow” Cali is but I do miss the coast AND the cost of living.
  • I loved your video, it was a very helpful rundown of topics not generally discussed. Very entertaining approach, most "pros and cons" videos are boring and seem fake or only appealing to a select group of people (with deeper pockets than mine LOL). I'm still deciding on a state to call home, this video definitely put Mississippi at the top of my list. 😊
  • I’m gonna be completely honest , you gotta be more upfront and just say it the way it is, and not explain each reason and factor so much people loose interest very quickly these days, thank you for doing everything you do but just be straight up and don’t worry about what others think that will gain more views, people like quick spoken and honest people
  • Enjoyed your video. I agree with most of what you said. We visited Mississipi in 2018 and are looking to move retire there. I am concerned with the skeeter and the humidity, but having AC solves one item.
  • @jerrys1
Sounds like a lot of positives to me. I am always skeptical to believe when the media starts smearing any community as vicious racists. Glad to hear it isn’t like that.
  • Hello. Could you help to explain the development projects in Jackson and the rest of Mississippi?
  • @jgionti3
What a fantastic video. My wife and I live in Florida and have considered Mississippi down the road If we do, we’ll be in touch. I am subscribed now. Great video
  • The thing about Mississippi that most of the people that live here love it, if you want to move here to change things don't bother, compared to the behavior ,attitudes, and living conditions up north this is heaven
  • How bad is summers in Tupelo? It has to be a little bit better than further South, right? Thank you.
  • I lived in VA for my whole life. I recently got married to my husband and he’s from Mississippi. I met him because he’s in the marines. When he gets out in a year & 1/2. We plan on going to Mississippi. Honestly I’m not worried about anything besides the job he already has planned (the same one he had before he joined the marines). Reason why I’m worried about that is health insurance and he wants children. But that’s the only thing. When I went to Mississippi for my first time to meet his family I absolutely loved it. Me being a “city” girl according to my husband I always loved the country.
  • Ty 4 sharing I may be moving to moselle . What can you tell me about it !!
  • I'm considering moving to Mississippi I lived in California right now and it's so expensive here, the reason I want to move there is because is more cheaper warmer and the lowlands forest.
  • My wife & I have been vacationing to Mississippi for years and just love the state. Your state is a history buffs dream come true. your people are great. We are wanting to relocate to Mississippi this coming year.
