Who’s here after the Club Shay Shay interview? Dude was electric
  • “Injury prone running back is in for the touchdown” wild line
  • Had to come watch what once was Johnny, one of the greatest college football qbs forgot how damn good he was . Here after club Shay Shay
  • Literally left mid interview after johnny broke it down then went back 🤣

Loved watching Johnny Football He was flashy, he was cocky and he was really good (at least on the college level)
  • Man looking back 2012 was probably the best sports year I can remember. Manziel became johnny football, Jeremy Lin became linsanity, the giants beat the patriots in a crazy game, Bron beat the thunder for the chip.

They pulled the upset there, and they just pulled an upset again! Respect to Texas A&M.
  • Manziel may not have made it happen in the NFL but I’ll be damned if he isn’t a college football legend. Sometimes it doesn’t work out. Dudes legacy is cemented!
  • Games like this are cool to see again partly because you remember when you were younger and watched these current NFL guys in college

I remember this game.. Thought A&M had no chance and figured a blowout was coming. This really was the start of Johnny football at least in college. He played a hell of a game that day
  • There are some games you never forget. This is one of them.
  • Nick saban said johnny manziel was the hardest player he ever had to prepare for in his career. That's saying a lot. I remember this game like yesterday. Mind totally blown as he just keeps making play after play.
  • Anyone else remember trying to play against Johnny football in NCAA? That team would QB read like 50 times a game lol.
  • My brother is a die hard Bama fan and I am a die hard Texas A&M fan. Feels so good
  • This was his biggest Heisman moment, especially the play where the ball got knocked out of his hands into the air and then he turned around and caught it, then turned back around, got out of the pocket and threw a TD.

Since this is NFL Throwback Verne Lundquist was voice of the Dallas Cowboys (1972-83) and did CBS NFL (1984-93, 1998-99 with fill-in appearances afterwards) and TNT NFL Sunday Night Football (1995-97). He used to work with Terry Bradshaw and sometimes John Madden on CBS. Verne was the voice of the SEC on CBS for 16 years beginning in 2000 (1:24)
