This is a demonstration of how a beautiful dashboard designed in PowerPoint can be taken to the next level with an Excel file, which is dynamically and automatically connected to all the charts and values of the dashboard. This allows for dynamically updating all charts and values without leaving the PowerPoint presentation mode.

In order to enable updating the respective dashboard chart immediately after changing the values in Excel (even after closing and reopening both files), I added some VBA code in the background.

For everyone interested in how this was build I will upload a tutorial video in the near future.

Stay tuned and subscribe if you like to see more videos of this kind.

Hi, this is just what I am looking for. My question is how do I set up Excel so that I can pull it into the dashboard? Do you have a tutorial on that? I need this for my end of the year report. Thank you and this is great.
  • @T4skMast3r
Very nice, did you end up doing the tutorial?

It worked at the beginning and as I continue, although naming all the labels and text correctly, the excel lost control with powerpoint. I could not find out the reason. I re-do part of the charts, copying them over and it worked for a moment again. But then it stop synchonizing. I am really puzzle. Could you please help?
