In this clip, Mack 10 talked about the friction that ultimately drove Westside Connection apart. Mack 10 spoke about his issue with Ice Cube's brother-in-law and how things have not been reconciled with Cube since. He also recounted Ice Cube's beef with Cypress Hill over the accusation that Cube stole the hook for the song "Friday" from Cypress. Mack 10 fully engaged in the conflict between Cube and Cypress but admitted that back then he had no idea what the issue was over.

  • Had the luxury of giving this gentleman's son a few lessons in baseball years ago. Just a nice, down to earth guy. He struck me as a good father, well involved and interested in the things his son was. Celebrities were nothing new in this particular area of California, and Mac 10 was one of many Celebrities that entrusted us with the fundamental development of their children, but Mac was different. I was in between combat deployments looking to stay busy with my down time when Mac brought his son in. A well behaved and respectful boy. We trained for an hour, Mac stayed the entire time, encouraging his son, giving positive feedback the entire time. I remember his boy had this look of absolute joy on his face every time he'd do something well. Mac would just smile back and nod his head. We talked a bit afterwards. About us both being soldiers. Life, the struggle, he even took time to pose for pictures with regular patrons. I have nothing but the utmost respect for this man. Not because of his career accolades, but because given what he came from.........he beat the struggle. I wish Mac 10 and his family nothing but the best✌

Everyone in Westside Connection had bars, but each had their own style. It's a shame that they could not release more music.
