    15 Billion dollars well spent
  • never forget that moments after this stream started, Facebook’s stock started fucking TANKING, dropping ~30% by the end of the day.
  • @lockiidraws
"you have to pay to applaud your friends" is the most dystopian shit i've ever heard lmao
  • @yisroel6
The funny thing is that the chances of all of those people that you encountered being Facebook employees are quite high.
  • @rockbender3
I’d just like to mention that RT put this in the horror game playlist, and I think that’s gold.

    > Goes into Metaverse
    > Panics
    > Gets #1 rank for comedy
    > Gets bored
    > Crashes Facebook stock
    > Leaves

When Zuck announced legs, I thought it meant legs visible when you look down a la Mirror’s Edge, or maybe legs you control via your real legs. I didn’t realize the models were literally floating torsos without legs.
  • Can I just say that, visually, this looks like the VR group project I made in college (I study game design) and was extremely embarrassed about. Like, this is the kinda shit you never mention to your friends, but you put it in your portfolio anyway because you got nothing else to show.

And no, we didn't have a 15 billion dollar budget, but we probably did have the same "who gives a fuck, this is gonna suck anyway" mindset as the Metaverse devs had.

Immediately dropping the mic at the comedy show and someone stealing the mic stand is the best comedy ive seen in years
  • @ragedrock5945
8:35 Quickly clarify- I was saying "You've got to actually be funny" not "You're not actually funny." You're great Dan
Also Dan I want my $2
  • @kaiyencastus
As someone who has never seen the metaverse beforehand, I can say I’m throughly terrified
  • @impendio
The comedy room part was terrifying, “trap him, don’t let him leave, take pictures without his permission!” Lmao
Also the “you owe me 7 quid” amazing.
  • @Predator20357
RT’s reaction when he realized the Meta stock was plummeting while he was playing was priceless
  • The fact that you have to pay Facebook to applaud, and none of that money goes to the person you're actually applauding for, is really spectacular
  • @Judge-1964
    I love Meta’s creativity.
“What should we call the wearable tablet on the avatar’s wrist?”
    “How about wearable?”
    “Genius!”
  • My faith in humanity has officially been revived after seeing us topple over multi-million dollar corporations. And we did it by making fun of them. What an interesting world.
  • @ProMace
Metaverse makes the real world feel like escapism.
  • "Surround him and take pictures of him without his permission" is probably the most terrifying thing in the world.
  • @alexey9970
Question: did you actually get that T-Shirt for being the best comedian in the Metaverse like you were promised?
