As someone who hasn't watched puppet history before today, I've clearly picked the wrong episode to start with and the best one to start with
  • I'd like Very Hands Off Executive Producer Shane Madej to know the wait was worth it.
  • @radpear8592
I love that Shane apologized for the lore but not the vore
  • @xxcnb1234
I like that Shane apologized for the lore at the beginning as if it’s not our favorite thing ever
  • @tippib2222
If my college history classes had had lore with puppets and genies, I would’ve gotten better grades.
  • Late to the party, but Ryan brought up the elephant story. Apparently this woman worked with poachers that killed a relative of the elephant's (idk if it was the elephant's child or sibling, but elephants have incredibly strong familial bonds) a while ago. The elephant escaped an elephant sanctuary over 100 miles away from where the woman was killed, and between killing the woman and throwing her corpse around at the funeral, the elephant also trashed her house, but was noticeably docile and harmless to everyone else in the village. Do NOT mess with elephants.
  • Ryan disassociating during the Hippo song and inability to process his win was literally the funniest thing I've every seen I CHOKED
  • Shane really, really, really needs to write a musical. His weird-ass lyricism is incredible
  • @SirAsdf
This whole season is gonna be Ryan's personal purgatory of psychological torture for what happened.
  • I’m fully expecting the professor to let Ryan win every episode and give him stuff to turn him into a puppet so he can possess him only to have a weird finale fight with whatever is possessing Ryan in the Buzzfeed Unsolved lore
  • @meggnoggs
If Shane sat down one day and wrote like a children’s fantasy series I just KNOW it would be DAMN good
  • @erinsmith2540
This season is deep. Not only is the professor definitely not the professor, but there are sprinkling of lore everywhere. Even the "professor's" voice is muted slightly. Impressive
  • If Shane starts to incorporate characters from the HOTDAGA, therefore confirming that they take place in the same universe I will go insane. Make it happen boys
  • @lozenger8
I love everything about this. The lore. Ryan's nervous dissociation. Sara. The fact Ryan won but it's almost certainly a trick. And the most insane song to date. It's chef's kiss.
  • @banbasafro
as soon as sara started going into the beaver thing i realized why she and shane work so well as a couple
  • i really wanna know how many mealtime talks sara has gotten from shane about the lore. i imagine shane being like "so he's gonna get eaten by a t-rex, but it's fine bc he gets reborn, and then he gets raised by a t-rex mom and a pterodactyl dad, and also there's a hologram that tries to kill ryan, and he gets defenestrated." and the whole time sara is just like "go on"
  • Shane better watch his back, because Sara and the Professor have CHEMISTRY
