More signs of autumn on the trees and under wheels as I undertook a journey from Sollentuna to the hospital in Södermalm, encountering leaf mulch and a surprising amount of construction progress, at sites you may recognise from my previous films.

We begin, as so often, in Silverdal where a railwayside work site has now been removed. Ulriksdals Golfklubb has diggers out on its putting green, while further into Solna we find the entire route past burgeoning Haga Norra has been diverted and opened up. I skip familiar sections of Vasastan and Norrmalm for glimpses of the works at Slussen, as the journey over to Gamla Stan is also diverted — further east, over the new Slussbron bridge.

I pass through Slussen again later on, turning west at Centralstationen for a ride over Kungsholmen, with a view back over to where I'd been in Södermalm. I then take an uphill meander towards Fridhemsplan, rejoining the usual route home at Vasastan.
