  • SFM artists on their way to go from making 30 second skits featuring a fat Russian saying “Pootis” to horror movies 2 Hours long

Scene fades to black and then a 2fort gameplay starts playing with a voice over "That was a recreation of a competitive clip that shows How it FEELS to play Medic"

Think this is the 4th or even 6th time I watched this movie. Its still insane to me how this is a straight up "movie" movie. Like no "snippets" or "clips" for shorts or videos. Just a straight up 2 hour long movie.

1:22:25 "I aM tHe OnLy SaNe OnE hErE" Says the dude who killed people for his career, threatening his own assistant, accidentally setting himself on fire, killed his boss, played Russian roulette, blaming everything he did on another man and dying from the same man

This happens when you get 20 Seconds to respawn
  • The scene where medic is crying and soldier offers him his last cigarette is a masterpiece

Lots of references to Stephen King in this. The shining ones might seem apparent, but theres also references to his short story "The Jaunt," about teleporting unconscious people across the solar system. They have to be teleported unconscious, because while the process is physically instantaneous, their conscience mind is aware of the experience taking hundreds of millions of years and makes people go insane. One character describes it saying, "It's forever in there."

16:50 haha dic I am very immature but really this movie is a real masterpiece of film The moments where the timeline loops, the little visual clues you almost miss, the wheelchair jokes about the Mann brothers, the parts where you’re not sure if it’s real or if it’s in a character’s head, and it’s never explained, which adds so much to this. Truly - and I don’t say this lightly - chef’s kiss. Honestly words aren’t enough. Bravo.

I'd like to imagine this is the kind of story the BLU team gets involved in regularly, while RED is fighting robots and teleporting bread.
  • @strsnsea
i love how despite the fact that the mercs are portrayed as very well past their prime, soldier still sees a rocket launcher and has a caveman instinct to perform a rocket jump
