I know this is pretty different from what I usually make, but I hope you enjoyed! Sorry if the pacing is a bit off, since this is my first time making something like this, and about the trash audio quality, since this was recorded with my iPad because I don’t have a mic

As a person that loves Dakota, but also watched all the episodes of PD, I can confirm I've never watched prime defenders
-
The Purps needed their own section in the FRFR because the Pilliam Pisp enjoyers are a flavor of unhinged that should never be forgotten

"You feel like he doesn't get enough love in this fandom" real, leave my dude alone😭

I will defend Le Frog to the ends of the earth. I have not completed undertale yet so just you wait.

Okay, so I was like "William, Mal, or the Trickster, I can't decide" and then you called me out like this. Your reads were a combination of correct. I don't really headcanon William as trans, but I am under the trans umbrella (AFAB, genderfluid, they/she). For me, it wasn't just the voice Bizly did for the Trickster, it was the facial expressions as well. You could tell he put a lot of effort into that character and he was fully acting him out perfectly. I think Mallard is a really cool villainous character because he has an air of not giving a shxt about most things, so his unique interest in William specifically is very unsettling. And yes, I am a huge fan of taking a main character with some trauma that is a least slightly morally grey, adding even more trauma to them, having them fall apart a few times with their friends to put them back together, getting them disillusioned with the good guys, heading down a darker path (either with their friends none the wiser or knowing but not being able to stop it), and leading to a villainous breakdown where said character does things that they will regret later after their friends break them out of it. Or straight up having a character be mind-controlled/possessed/corrupted, which achieves a similar effect in a short period of time but doesn't require it to be a reasonable path for their character to go down. Either way, I like seeing a main character become a villain, both because it's really fun to see the character like that, and also because I like seeing the other characters' reactions to it. Bonus points if it lasts for more than one episode. Even more bonus points if the character returns to the good side and has a mental breakdown over what they did as a villain. So yeah, I guess I do want to see William suffer, but only so that he can be really cool. There are a certain few episodes that I particularly enjoyed for this reason, but also the entirety of season 2 with their friend being possessed by the main villain was really fun for me as well. Important note: While this is one of my favorite storylines for fiction, I do not condone it in the slightest for real life. The idea of real life mind-control/possession is terrifying to me, and I would much prefer if everyone was the best person that they can be instead of the worst. However, fictional characters do not exist in real life, therefore no one actually gets hurt in real life when they are mind-controlled/possessed/go on a villain arc. This is an important distiction.

Watching the ashe segment on the day of the PD s2 finale, "when will he return from war" HOPEFULLY TODAY!!

I've never seen Prime Defenders, so as soon as I saw this I was like "okay, I guess my favorite is probably Dakota or-" and then the answer for Dakota snuck up on me and killed me My other favorite would be William since Charlie plays him and I did not expect that answer

technically william is my favorite (which uh. yeah accurate) but the doug one was FOUL. I just think he's neat... I really like characters who get 'redeemed' but still dont particularly like/agree with the protaginists and I think if expanded upon more the existence of his character really challenges some of vyncent and williams beliefs, and also dakota and WATCH's whole black and white mindset, and would highlight a lot of the flaws in both the way vyncent/william think and the way WATCH operates. idk idk I just think he's really interesting and its such a shame that neither him nor summer got any attention this season

As some who loves Will and don't see Will as trans (Im just the "other" on the multi chose) Loving Dakota, am too brokey to watch PD in full And Ms. Gilbert is queen, hate candy crush and actually dont play video/console/mobile games unless i wanna pass time. I just defy all odds (im a favorite middle child if you could believe) soo couldn't tell ya the accuracy
