nice! . im into scratch hooks myself and approach it very much from the 'hook' angle, meaning it should be catchy and memorable so I keep the cuts simple and funky. i like Premiers old Gangstarr hooks best, before he started chopping up multiple samples

What about Debonair P? He scratches 8 samples for an 8 bar chorus (usually using 8 different records).
