I got the same knock off. My eyes do line up, so youre just kinda unluckily
  • @SymbioteMaster4
I feel like knockoffs should be called customs because they are the smartest they made a mostly better Lego figure and sell them for a reasonable price. No customs should over 100 dollars. You are basically paying for one mini figure for the price of a great Lego set. And you people who encourage the whole idea that LEGO mini figures should be more expensive is what is making Lego sets more expensive. Like The LOTR sets.

AliExpress figure: You're just a cheap freaking knockoff £150 figure: Oh no no no no no. I'm the upgrade.
  • I doubt anyone's gonna read this. But I think if a custom lego minifigure gets way too detailed. It basically becomes an action figure.
  • While yea the custom LEGO fig is definitely a lot better. U can’t ignore the fact tht a lot of people don’t have the money to spend $100 on one minifig. The fact tht your able to get tht much detail on a fig tht costs the same as legos is insaine. Knock off figs are 100x better than how they used to be and in a lot of situations, WAY better then LEGO in generals designs. Just make sure u have a lead detector near. They like to cheap out with the paint a lot.

I actually like the original more. The other one's look too detailed, and I love how dirty and scratched it is plus they really look like it's put together in a cave with a box of scraps Also the Lizard custom looks more like someone wearing a Lizard costume than someone who actually turned into a human Lizard
  • @Dreadhead669
Sorry, but why does the custom one cost 150$?!?! This is insane.
  • i mean, what makes it a knockoff, aren't they just affordable customs, sure they arent licensed but neither are the "customs"
  • @Fishysalmon02
I feel like only using one character for this video makes it feel like a limited sample size. I've bought multiple customs and knockoffs, and a lot of the time it really is a case-by-case basis on which is better. Not to mention certain characters that lego themselves just havent done
  • @Sentoriika
my problem with customs is that it is too detailed when put in to a lego environment and makes it stick out too much but they really do have more features that improves from the original
  • @owenlewis4402
just bought the entire bad batch customs for 28, and even tho they aren’t official lego the customs are SO GOOD and some of my fav figs i own. Besides the legs not being as straight you basically can’t tell they aren’t official lego

Knockoffs seem to be really inconsistent with quality. Sometimes they’re decent, sometimes they’re disgustingly bad. Usually if something is printed on Lego parts, the person or company who made it cares much more about quality than the average Chinese knockoff company who doesn’t print on Lego parts

I have only one question : where do the Doc Ock (at the beginning) comes from ? The silver tentacles are a little too brights but he looks really nice !
  • @fennekin1750
I think both the Custom and KO are actually worse than the official one. The KO just looks bad. & the Custom looks un-Lego-like & just too clunky. & the faceprint is uh-gly . The official one's helmet actually looks good & isn't bad. If you really want the suit to be more clunky & accurate to the movie, then use the Praetorian Guard armor in silver or maybe the bigger Chima armor (the bulkier one, not the one with the swoopy shoulders), or maybe the big heavy armor (the same one the Hydro suit has in sand green) in silver, with a 1:1 round tile, aka smooth stud on the front. Choose the best armor out of these options & find some arms to snatch (maybe Din Djarin's) & you've got the best version of the Ironman MK-1 suit in minifig form.
  • @potatolol4579
If you can get a bootleg of a stupidly overpriced minifig for a literal fraction of the cost, go for it. Mr Gold, Duckpool etc
  • @AFT3RDAY5
Let’s just say, you can get lucky and get one of the really cool figures that are actually better looking than Lego and even of decent quality. But there are very often figures that aren’t even worth that little money they cost. I have a box full of crap and a few that are awesome.
  • I perfer the Real customs Lego minifigure better then Knockoff Lego
