It all depends on what you are buying these for. The Byrna works the best for me because I don't want to take anything apart and hope it still is reliable as the factory build and It's small enough to fit in my Lexus GS glove box that is small and couldn't hold any of these others, also, I prefer the power of the Byrna as it is because I would like to shoot a close bad guy in the throat or head if I felt I needed to and I don't want any more power hitting them at close range in soft tissue. It can do plenty of damage as is. I would worry about those stronger guns possible hurting someone permanently and that's not the idea of the thing. I have the choice of using a real gun if necessary, so I prefer the power where it is and the size right where it is so it can stay in my car and sometimes my briefcase, those other guns are way too big for me to use. I think Byrna hit the sweat spot for now. These days, it's easier to lose all your life savings to lawyers than to street thugs and I don't want to pay either group a cent. I feel much better with a non lethal option like alternating pepper balls and hard plastic and only using a real gun as a last resort.
  • That's why I skipped the Byrna TIPX & FSC are my choice have both and a M17 in the mail owe and lets not forget the T8.1
  • Life saver vid.i couldnt figger out witch of three of them options i wanted and didnt even consider the forth.thanks bud

It's such a twisted tale with these guns. Tippmann made the Mission line for the less lethal market. One of the makers for the pepper ammo was, I believe, Byrna in South Africa. Pepperball licensed the Mission MLR and Tippmann 98. Byrna bought the Mission line and started selling the TMC as their Mission rifle. Meanwhile, Sabre and Salt Supply still sell the TiPX/TPR under their brand. So, the TiPX is the Mission TPR/Salt/Sabre. The Tippmann TMC is the Mission/Byrna Carbine. The Tippmann Custom 98 is the Pepperball FTC while the Mission MLR is the Pepperball TAC SF. Meanwhile, these 2 products are in Byrna's Mission product line video.

I went with TiPX cause I also want to play paintball, there's so much aftermarket for the TiPX you can have a highly competitive woodsball/recball marker that also pulls double duty for less lethal home defense.

I’m kind of between the HDX68 40J and FSC for homedefence. HDX68 has good things like: + Power <40J with 88g OOTB + Large magazine for 16 rounds (let the bad guy HAVE IT!) + Looks! + Adapter for 2x12g (<23J) + Crowned spiky barrel (when nothing’s enough) Have you tried the HDX68 40J? FSC is highly customizable which is interesting. You can make it personal somehow. All those different barrels and stuff, it seems to big world to dive into. Anyway, nice vid, thanks!
  • Update Tipx Byrna SD FSC & TCP I prefer co2 for my FSC & TCP that HP thing is a pain although the TIPX works great with HPA got a kit from MCS that has it like an SBR love that owe and lets not forget the M17 Don't come un invited to my house
  • Just the video I needed to see! I’m dreaming about the fsc or pepperball tcp carbine “venom” edition. Could go the other way and do “carnage” 😎
  • I just got the "byrna sd" only because you can fire it right away, like a pistol, Instead of needing to screw in the co2. Other than that, I really like how the "FSC" keeps a fresh co2 in each magazine.
  • @PJ-ee5mc
Great video but you never really got into any details on the tricked-out FSC, like the air supply and that long barrel that looked like a suppressor.
  • @runerebel8441
Nice video Daniel. Did you change or moddify the internals on the TiPX? Thought it wouldnt give more than 18 joule max just by screwing in the velocity screw.Getting 30 joule from it sounds great.
  • @BALrider1Steve
I have a kingman training eraser .45 paintball pistol back in the day they still used today or what?
  • Someone said the Byrna can load an extra +1 by inserting the magazine, chambering the first ball, removing the mag, adding back one more ball, reinserting the mag
  • @-Cutz-
From this video id want the byrna cuz the size but ive seen too many videos the fsc is the strongest but its so big like the tipmamx but they have a smaller version too which i dont see much in youtube.
  • @miguelmendez4718
If I install the remote line adapter on my tipx can I still use my co2 cartridge when I’m not using my hpa tank?
