Here in the U.S., our prices are much higher: Tea: $3.50 U.S., $3.30 Iran Oil: $4.00 U.S., $1.10 Iran Rice: $4.50 U.S., $1.70 Iran Tissue: $1.25 U.S., $0.40 Iran Tuna: $2.00 U.S., $1.50 Iran Tomato Paste: $2.00 U.S., $1.00 Iran Pineapple: $2.00 whole or $8.00 cut up U.S., $3.70 Iran I could go on, but I'll just say that U.S. food prices are about triple (3 times) the cost in Iran.

It's good for tourists who come to visit Iran. Iranians use their local currency not U.S dollar due to unfair sanctions.
