Disney and Pixar's #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!
The little voices inside Rileyâs head know her inside and outâbut next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixarâs âInside Out 2â introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. âAnxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but sheâs not really the type to take a back seat,â said Mann. âThat makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.â A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.
Disney and Pixarâs âInside Out 2â returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, whoâve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, arenât sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like sheâs not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, âInside Out 2â releases only in theaters Summer 202

This sequel is going to be absolute fire!
-
I love how this trailer gives us just enough to get excited without giving away the whole plot. Well done đđđ
-
Can we just talk about how Joy immediately jumped in front of the other emotions when a new one appeared? Sheâs such a leader and I canât wait to see how she progresses as a character in the new movie.
-
Just some things I wanted to point out:
-Disgust was shielding Sadness from the worker
-Fear with his teddy bear ^w^
-Disgust and Fearâs replacement VAâs are absolutely perfect. Sound just like the original
-The five main emotions overall seem to be more accepting and understanding of each other. Good character development.
Canât wait for this movie. It already looks amazing. -
I love the little detail of anxiety shaking her hands, that exact movement is something I do when I get anxious and it really stood out to me
-
The gap between the first movie and the sequel is so perfect, itâs like summarizing the past few years of some of us growing into and out of teenagers, into a movie whose predecessor had such emotional impact on us as children
-
Now this is a good idea for a sequel. Not only I want to see more emotions, but also new islands of personality that revolve around the phases some of us gone through as teenagers.
-
Now this is a Disney movie I want to see. Pixar rarely disappoints.
-
Ever since the movie came out, when i was young, i always wanted a sequel and im so excited for new emotions and things like that. Thank you Pixar â€

For anyone who couldnât catch the different emotions at 1:25 the new ones are: Anxiety, Envy, Ennui (tired and boredom as one), and Embarrassed. So maybe we might see that old envy design makes it debut!
-
Pixar is holding Disney together and I can't wait for this! My daughter made me watch the first one so many times as an infant it'll always have a special place in my heart.â€

Maya Hawke's voice, it fits her so well! Can't wait for it to come!
-
Anxiety comes with so much baggage and Iâm so glad they added that little detail of her (the emotion) with so many suitcases. Kudos to Pixar đ
-
Maya is just one of those voice actors that you donât really notice itâs her until someone actually says it.
-
This is actually a really smart way to make a sequel for this movie, because people do develop more complex emotions as they grow up.
-
Is it just me or when something you really like has another season or another movie and a trailer comes out you just canât stop watching it?
-
This is probably my most hyped animated sequel in a looonnngggg time. Iâm loving the concept of this. Canât wait.
-
Finally a sequel Iâm actually excited for!
-

Canât wait to see the new movie! I loved the original Inside Out and I have a feeling this is going to be just as good!
