I urge parents to watch their kids when near bodies of water, they get relaxed and think someone else is watching their kid. As a parent it is YOUR responsibility to monitor your child, drowning is preventable. Drowning is silent and can happen in seconds so you have to stay vigilant. I’m a nurse and summer time is one of the most heartbreaking seasons of the year for me.
