Remembering Mayor Jean Walling

Mayor Jean Walling of East Brunswick was a trail-blazer, dedicated public servant, and my mom. She died in 1975 while in office. Her life is inspirational. In 2020, her hometown must decide whether to remain a suburban community with hometown values or go the way of massive residential development and transform into a city.
