Looking at how most people in the Bible didn't seek their purpose but took care of what they had at that time and God after finding them elevated them to take on even more responsibility to fulfill His will... In other words keep doing what you've been doing with Christ in mind always. Take care of the little God has blessed you with. God will find you and give you your purpose that edifies His will.

Even though what he says is true do not let your talents go to waste, instead try to use them for God in some way to serve and glorify God. There is a verse in the bible that speaks about not letting your gifts go to waste.

Thank you for this. Whilst being in the presence of God, I'm trying to search for my true calling, as I've tried to pass on as a writer before, and as a result, I learned a lot about myself, got a lot from other people, and for my own safety I'm starting over. However, my writer's mind is still active, I need to find a way to shut it off in order to move forward.
