Eating a big spider in Cambodia

On the bus ride from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh we stopped for a snack. This snack just happened to be spiders. It was actually better than the bug I had eaten earlier. They both were a bit oily, which probably negates their protein value.

At least now I know that if I were starving, bugs wouldn't be the worst thing to eat--at least if they were cooked.

    Yeah, both of us in this video were also at the Preah Vihear attack just a couple of days earlier.

    @WayneStandsUp It wasn't bad; just tasted like a french fry that had been left in the oil a bit too long. I'm curious if any Cambodian markets in the US carry them.
