6:36 Fun fact: Snowballs have the same throw speed and range of an ender pearl. So you can throw a snowball across the lava lake or void (in the end) to find your trajectory and ensure that you hit your target. Correct me down in the replies if I'm wrong

9:30 i would actually recommend iris+sodium. It generally updates faster, and performs better than optifine. It supports most optifine shaders. Only downside is, it doesn't come with the texture pack features, unlike optifine.

Mending on my bow for sure. I have a mob farm that produces more arrows I can store anyway, and I don't often need to shoot more than 2 stacks of arrows, so I'd prefer to not go through the trouble of enchanting a new bow.

In all honesty with the spyglass now just use sodium instead of Optifine. It increases the FPS to a ridiculous degree and now in combination with Iris will also run shaders.

1:58 I make my mineshafts like that. It takes less time and uses less durability which is nice early game.... and it takes just as much time to go back up as when you do it with a taller ceiling (going down a second time is faster with a taller ceiling though).
