Watching some of the great USC teams of all time never gets old. Especially with Conquest playing in the background.

This was one season where none of the games were ever really in doubt. During the OJ years, USC had to rally to win some close games, but this 1972 team dominated everyone.

Great great video! Love the music from the era! Teared me up seeing Sam Cunningham going over the top for all those touchdowns. What great days those were!

"That 72 USC team could have beat some pro teams."                                                                                              Archie Griffin

There was never any doubt when this squad hit the field. Pure domination. Greatest football team the college world has ever seen.

Always a thrill to watch my all-time favorite Trojan, Anthony Davis, running in his unique style, giving it 110% and doing the knee dance in the end zone.

IMO The best group of offensive players ever assembled on a college football team. The second half of the Notre Dame game was "PERFECTION".

I was at that game, sitting in the West area, closer to the end zone where Anthony Davis scored. I had never seen a Woody Hayes Ohio State team get manhandled so much. He got us back the next year, though. This was the game where Hayes assaulted L.A. Times Photographer, Art Rogers on the field before the game. The Buckeyes were no match for this team. No one was , really. We called Sam Cunningham "Superman" for all those leaps into the end zone. Great to see Fred McNeil get some carries, too.

USC coach John McKay was from my home state of West Virginia. He came from a small town called Shinnston.
