I like the first gen K5LLA and it’s my favorite horn.
  • So glad it’s back. I really hope the SD60I‘s and M’s come out after the CW60AC.

C39-8, while csx only had a few units they’re unique and there’s only one left in service on the Pennsylvania northeastern railway

Sad that they had to leave so soon. If it was possible, they could’ve sent them back to EMD to resolve the noise issues, but then again PSR implementation likely made that decision insufficient since all of the ACes were sold off. Just so you know, that NBSR photo at 9:54 is an SD70M-2

Nice video, wish these units stayed around longer on CSX. Just one little note, CSXs weren’t AH units and UP also still let’s their thunder cabs lead. Only BNSF banned them from leading, which is why theirs never even got PTC. These units are very lesser known in the history of CSX so I’m glad to see some people acknowledging them, as they were pretty awesome
  • 2:44 that’s my background wall paper on my brand new iPad 10th generation But other than that, I really enjoyed your video my dude, it’s a really good explanation too!

Glad to see some videos that you did in my home town over here in western Mass in the Pittsfield area I remember one of those sd70 aces were brand spanking new employee they were sweet sounding even working the mountain out of Pittsfield ma

Good video,I wasn't aware that the original sd70aces were bad.
  • WOW, great job...My favourite locomotive has always been the SD40-2. I know it must have been LOUD... but she still looked very cool...
  • Excellent video! Glad you supplied the credit with the clips! If you need footage of other equipment, feel free to reach out!
  • @AKawalski
Great video, educational and well put together! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
  • Wish CSX still had their ACEs. Would make the roster much better than what it currently is.
  • "E. Hunter Harrison took over CSX and implemented PSR" - that pretty much explains what happened to alot of the locomotives in a nutshell....and railroading in general!
  • @iancampbell3960
Thanks for this I never knew why CSX didn't like their ACes
