QTip is a genius. Record companies didn’t understand their music when they dropped this demo. A whole story , this is a mastermind. Wayyy advanced for its time. No the lyrics aren’t that great but it’s the story telling and the style.

The people who are saying this is a bad song from Quest are wrong. Its suppost to be a silly fun song and they accomplished that.

I vaguely remember as a kid from the east coast in 1990 thinking to myself "Is El Segundo a real place?" Lol Cali was so foreign to us even though it was the setting for almost every movie and tv show.
