The east blue saga is so underrated. It’s baffled me that some people (even in the one piece fanbase) really thought one piece wasn’t that good at the beginning and we have to wait 200+ chapters in order to enjoy one piece 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😫. Unbelievable.

i always get excited whenever i see luffy and the others just slowly walking to the enemy hq, got hyped at arlong park when i saw it, got hyped at water seven when i saw it, absolutely bad ass, and it's because you just know they mean business

I still find it insane how everyone claimed they were the strongest in the East Blue at the time and Luffy just punched through them like it was nothing it shows how much he has grown since he was a child. And his dedication to his friends and to protect them.

Counting stars is literally the perfect song for the east blue saga. Dream chasing pirates? Checks out. Even the counting money, watch it burn part reminded me of the arlong arc to a degree because stocking up money then it all gets taken away. Great amv.

The East Blue arc was without a doubt one of the ones that left the most impact, it will always be one of my favorites. Great amv, it touched my kokoro haha. I miss East Blue days too :'3
