The thought of someone killing with no idea what he's doing is scary enough, but the mere idea that he think he's doing good to the world makes this the darkest one of all the " meet the" series
-
pyro does not scream when he dies, he LAUGHS. meaning he does not know what is even going on
-
There are 2 main catagoreis that theories about Pyro seem to fall into: Either he has NO idea what hes doing, or he knows EXACTLY what hes doing. Both are equally terrifying.
-
Heavy calls his enemies babies. But pyro literally sees them as such.
-
Pyro in this: The most feared thing alive. Pyro in game: Just acting like a tusken raider who got hold of a flamethrower.
-
The thing about Pyro is that when you read the comics, you learn he’s aware of what he’s doing. He violently murders a bear who he believes is against fire (clearly an homage to smokey) and even later he’s coaxed into helping the mercs by a lighter. Even though pyro sees these things, he knows exactly what he’s doing, and now the pyrovision feels more like a coping mechanism.

1:10 I just realized that irl, heavy and scout were probably making an advance to try and take pyro down

10 year old me when i find a village in minecraft:
-
“Well the difference is one’s a job and the other’s mental sickness!”
-
Cool thing I found in the video, at 0:32, you can see a blue demoman hiding near the door so pyro doesn't see him, instead of fighting him like he would do to any other class.

Pyro is just something else. He's not like the others. The others have fun and colorful personalities and aren't meant to be taken too seriously. This man is something else. He has no silly or goofy traits, he is terrifying. He has no idea he slaughters everyone. His own team fears him, despite him having no friendly fire (literally.) He thinks he brings joy and love, and as someone said, for the part with Heavy, he doesn't just hand him a lollipop. Pyrovision turns his atrocities into something desirable. When he kills Sniper, he tilts his head. He doesn't know where the screams are coming from. It would be scary if he was aware. But his unawareness makes it so much more disturbing.

The end scene is a technical masterpiece for source filmmaker especially 11 years ago

-
Blood will rain down from the skies and Pyro will think it's a skittles rainbow
-
"Oh no there's a guy with a flamethrower lets go hide inside the wooden buildings"
-
The way heavy utters "it scares me..." is like, for a split second, he regressed into being a scared child talking about the boogieman.

Pyro is horrifying, it unnerves me to think that he’s helping out. He’s more insane than the medic is
