Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO and Ring Magazine titles against Jamaine Ortiz on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Lopez-Ortiz headlines an action-packed televised doubleheader that kicks off Big Game Weekend.
In the 10-round lightweight co-feature, U.S. Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis faces Puerto Rican former two-division world champion Jose “Sniper” Pedraza.
Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Takeover Promotions and CES Boxing, tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. PT and can be purchased at AXS.com.
Lopez-Ortiz and Davis-Pedraza will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.

Loma is an absolute master boxer but he starts far to slow, Teo was impressive in this fight and he did win the first half of the fight, but he did start to struggle when loma woke up. If loma woke up earlier in the fight he could of very well won a very entertaining close fight

Too little too late was the story of this one for Loma. He was the P4P king at this point so it was REALLY puzzling when he ceded the entire first half of the fight to Teo (which almost felt deliberate???) and then had to play desperate catch-up at the end. Still boggles my mind to this day but I'd like to see these two run it back again.

Loma was the better boxer, but he gave away too many of the early rounds for no reason. Even with that, Loma wins.

The commentary is so skewed it's painfully obvious. Teo throws 3 punches, none landing anywhere other than on gloves, commentator: "ERMAGAD, WHAT AN INSANE OFFENSIVE SURGE FROM TEOFIMO, HE'S SUCH A GENIUS". Goddamn corrupt clowns.

There is no way people saying loma won this fight he barely did anything the first 6-7 rounds and lost the 12th round. You can’t win a fight on pints giving up the first half. Teo clearly won
