I have spent 6 days with the Nikon Z6 III and this video covers the last 3 days og my testing period. The purpose has been to simply figure out if the camera is capable of delivering what I need for the type of work I am doing.
The reason why I am very excited about the Nikon Z6 iii is because it has a lower resolution sensor which could potentially mean better low light performance. It also has the flip screen which is worth a lot to me since I can then also use it for vlogging.
Last but not least, it has a fantastic viewfinder - the best I have ever looked through on any camera.

It has been a pleasure so far, and I am looking forward to trying a finished version with a final firmware. This is not a review in any way - just me using a new camera:)

Enjoy watching.

See you out there...

All the best
Morten

you are the reason I ordered 180-600, you are the reason I have decided to do wildlife and nature photography, and most importantly, you are the reason I haven't given up on my hobby

More photographers need to do a gear reviews in an adventure videoā€¦thatā€™s what makes your videos great Morten. Canā€™t wait to watch this!
  • @Neo-vk8hk
Morten's videos are the essence of photography
  • No reading specification, no test chart, no studio test. Just go out and do the test in the real world to see whether it works or not, plain and simple, though it is a hard work. I really enjoy Mr. Hilmer videos. Your videos are one of the best.

You are not only a fantastic photographer, you are also a terrific story-teller and I love the way you interact with animals. I could watch your videos forever and ever ā¤
  • Morten the visit by your horse friends was hilarious, what a nice moment. The drops bouncing off the lake, what a pleasure to be out in nature despite the mosquitos.

Morten's videos always remind me how much of a fairweather photographer I am! Morten's commitment to his work, come rain or shine, should be applauded! šŸ™‚

Morten: I don't want to get the camera wet. Also Morten: gets the camera wet 5 seconds later. šŸ˜œ edit: This video has a little bit of everything: forest, camping, wet socks, horse friends that almost destroy your secret camera, sea, deer, coffee, photoblind, and our beloved badger and fox from the livestream. Perfect.
  • An hour long camera reveal? YES! This type of photography resonates with me. This is the best way to show how a camera really works, and I need a camera that works well in the field, not a test studio. Thanks for the video.

A gear review video? No, it's a Morten Hilmer video! Always worth watching
  • Thank you so much, Morten, for this wonderful video filled with your radiant positivity and infectious excitement, and all those beautiful creatures in the lovely green Danish nature. One hour passed as quickly as a heart beat, leaving once again a huge appreciation of your art, and happiness for getting the opportunity to see some of it. Tusen tack, Morten šŸ’•

Hey Morten, thanks to you, I decided to come to Denmark on a photo trip. I'm now on my last day of the 10 day trip and I loved every moment of it. The most time I have spend at the cosy camping near Bulbjerg and the many bird spotting places in the area. Please don't complain about farming until you have come to Belgium. And yes: you can complain about the mosquitos. They suck a pint of blood every time they sting you. I will be back for sure to your beautiful country! Regards, Filip.

Your videos record the lives of animals in nature. They are truly touching and worth learning. They are great!ā¤

Beautifully edited video! Nikon is very lucky to have you as an ambassador. I hope the photo of the fox makes it into next yearā€™s calendar. Itā€™s awesome.
  • It really goes on to show the amount of hard work that goes into capturing those beautiful shots. Wildlife photographers need more recognition
  • I was wondering if Morten was going to review the Z6III, and boy is this a treat! 1 hour of Morten with an review of new gear!
  • Love the new rig, bike and trailer. Always fascinating to watch what you find.
