Septic field blow-out

Our septic field needed a blow-out to clear out accumulated gunk in the pipes. First they had to find all the pipe-ends, then they hooked up a high powered compressor to the system and blew out each of the 13 pipes in turn. Here's one of them.

    By the time the stuff gets to the network of pipes buried in that septic field it's pretty well been destinkified. this process just blows out the indigestible material which has accumulated in the pipes over the years, like fingernails, hairballs, chicken bone fragments, whatever else isn't supposed to go into a drain with a septic system.
