Narendra Modi supporters sing the Hanuman Chalisa on the verdict day of Elections 2024 at the BJP Party office in New Delhi, to the sounding of conch shells (shankh), with media persons craning their cameras to look in and record the optimism and religiosity or rather religious overtones of the purely political occasion. Chants of 'Modiji ki garantee / guarantee' and 'Jai Siya Ram' and Jai Shri Ram' rent the air, with clapping and much jingoism. Kids and mothers join in to the celebrations, making it a religious and family occasion as well as a political one. All the while, the tally and tabulation of election seats runs on a LCD screen behind them. Supporters wear Modi masks and clap along!

Lots of arms in the air, and sweaty aimpits to boot, in the boiling summer of June 2024 in Delhi - the world's hottest city!

Great euphoria, much flag waving, chest thumping, drum beating and orange garbed cheer at the Bhartiya Janata Party headquarters in New Delhi at the announcement of the results of Elections 2024. Even the drummers wear a saffron attire, as part of Soham Band and Hari Om Legacy Band from Rohini. Ram Lakhan Bombay Nasik Dhol Party joins in.

Traffic comes to a standstill and a wedding band plays out typical shaadi music numbers. Media persons stand around and speak into their microphones. BJP and India national flags fly aloft. Mobile phones are held aloft to capture the moment of victory. Chants of Modi Modi, a machine that throws out saffron and green coloured powder and much cheering takes place, with BJP flags and traffic stopping crowds.
