Hey all! Seeing a few comments about the path blocks being removed so wanted to explain my reasoning further here -- Unfortunately there is no way to really detail on top of path blocks, grass / flowers / leaves / etc. cannot be placed on them, which means once the terrain would be built out it would be almost completely bare without any details.. and anything I would add in would destroy the path blocks. So in order to make something more detailed later on and have more options available to work with, I decided to turn it all into grass blocks. We'll revisit the idea again in the future :)
  • A custum cave inside the moutain would be soo cool. Big crystal perhaps and maybe waterfalls. Like some sort of hidden oasis
  • @prof-quack
“Making this up as I go”. That has a double meaning in the context that you’re literally forging peaks in the land.
  • In my opinion it would be amazing if you use the place under the mountain for a big underground fairy kingdom. A beautiful dark forest biome with big roots and glowing mushrooms hanging from the ceiling. I think if fWhip can't do it, no one could do it❤

Hey, fwip, I think it would be very cool if you added a glacier between some peaks of the mountain. All of the mountains seem to be very eroded, so it would make a lot of sense that there would be snow that would accumulate in the shadows.

I'm still devastated that the path block palette isn't an option, but it looks gorgeous anyway!! Can't wait to see the full mountain range!!

Absolutely loving this Fwip! I was so disappointed when you stopped playing on your initial Building with Fwhip survival world, the custom terrain was the best I had ever seen at that point but you’re turning this world into a worthy successor, now it’s so much better than that one!
  • @GalacticSpike
fWhip please light up those dark patches! I'm getting flashbacks from your previous hardcore world, with a very specific mountain project...
  • @melkyuk
every time i’m starting to get either bored or stuck in my minecraft world, you always give me so much motivation to keep going

I'm loving the terraforming, and it would also be great to hear your reasoning for certain formations. Was there anything in real life the inspired you to make round out a hill or make an erosion channel in a certain place? Maybe even include some pictures of formations. I think it would be really engaging to understand the thought process of the artist!

Sad to see the path blocks go, it seemed like a unique concept. And yet, 5 min in and i like the new version better
  • @KaelHeagy
Lets get it to 1 million likes !!!!!

You can add some tuff blocks as kind of an avalanche of rocks. And above it some kind of erosion
  • @725ken
This guy is both a machine and an artist. I can't imagine placing this many blocks and not go insane from the repetition. I'm always amazed how fWhip is able to place blocks with no plan and make it turn out looking like something out of a painting.

5:58 looks like a portal to another dimension tbh. Kinda like that scene in Avengers Infinity World, where the team is entering Wakanda. It looks super trippy.
  • @TimberlineWolf1
Id like to take a moment to remind fWhip of the term 'Rolling Hills'. As in, hills that go up AND down! I think adding in more natural variation in elevation would add a lot to this project. Plus, it'll help create good places for streams, rivers and lakes!
  • @anonymously944
Will you make a small village up their in those mountains?
  • @eldu724
Maybe path blocks could go under the world tree around the roots since no light gets there. Also this world is insane Fwhip. I look forward to every video.
