Such a shame, a truly wonderful place. My wife and I were there in March or April of 1976. Our first club.

I was there in 1969..it was stunning. Waterskiing/snorkeling were amazing. It's such a shame to see it now.

Hana lei Plantation. hotel site. happy Talk bar. Replace d by Princeville hotel. Finally St. Regis. I was boat captain 1976.there. On Hanalei river. Water skiers.

These are not the ruins of the old Club Med. After Club Med went under in the 70s, it was torn down. These are the abandoned foundations of a subsequent planned development that went bankrupt before completion.

The water is muddy. Why would anyone want to go there?
