In today’s episode of Figuring Out we have Ankur Warikoo in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is personally, one of my favourite creators and after this conversation, I became an even bigger fan of him. He is the founder of WebVeda, the best-selling author of Do Epic Shit, and a content creator. Till now you have known Ankur Warikoo as a content creator and teacher but today you will know Ankur Warikoo as a person.

In this episode, we started our conversation by talking about why India is a trust deficit country, why Mumbai is a professional capital of India and the power dynamics. He then shared the story of the phase when we had no income source during COVID-19, how he had only 5 months' worth of savings and how he planned to live in the mountains if nothing worked out, and how he then started a YouTube channel and hit 1 million subscribers within a year. We then talked about how Tata was successful in building trust, how anyone can start their personal branding journey and create content, and he shared some tips for the same.

Towards the end, we talked about his unique hiring process and he also shared why he claims that he is one of the top recruiters in India. We then talked about whether new financial guidelines have affected the way he makes finance content and whether it changed his content strategy. We ended our conversation by talking about why he is against hustle culture and the perspective he shared gave a new insight on hustle culture. One thing I really like about Ankur ( not cos I have a regional bias for him)is that he says really complex things with simplicity, also he accepts that inheritance plays a big role in our lives! P.S: I knew imdb is amazon owned

There is something very very beautiful about @RajShamani. He asks such simple and profound questions that it just picks your brain. The way he articulates and directs the conversations, it so smooth. What makes it even more interesting is his conduct and his thought process. It is extremely relatable. @rajshamani you're nailing every single podcast. Thank you for being you!!
