I grew up in a little town on the New South Wales south coast. This was close to my favourite song. I applied for and was accepted into the Air Force as a pilot in 1987. I swore that if I passed the pilot course, which had a traditional pass rate of just 50%, I would come back to my home town, sit down at South Beach with a beer, in my RAAF uniform, with my newly awarded pilot wings, and look out over the beautiful ocean while listening to this song. I did pass. I did sit down at South Beach with a beer, looking out over the ocean listening to Cool Change, whilst contemplating what I'd achieved. I felt bloody good.

They say Don Hensley of the Eagles is the "golden throat" of rock, but this guy, Glenn Shorrock has a golden voice that is a contender for sure! Love, love, LOVE this song!

Said goodbye to my sister for the last time... While playing her favorite song... Always remember good times when I hear this...

They should be in the Rock an Roll hall of fame
-
Not in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. What a shame.

I think LRB is one of the most underrated bands of the 70βs-80βs. The way they harmonized wasnβt something you hear much of these days. I kinda think of LRB as one of the first βboy bandsβ. Cute as hell, can sing, harmonize, and all the ladies loved them! Keep on a rockinβ Glenn.

This has what modern songs don't have....HARMONY!!!!
-
You know you got talent when you sound just as good live as on your album. Thats a rarity.
-
This song takes me back to the best memories of when I was a young man.
-
It brought tears to my eyes back in 1979. It just brought them back again in 2024. 20 years from now, it probably will too. π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬πππππ

For all who grew up and missed out on the late 70's 80's and early 90s...it was a hell of a time. Sincerely, Gen X.
