Chris Jericho On CM Punk's WWE Return

Wouldn't surprise me if we see jericho back once more in WWE eventually.

When Punk initially left Jericho basically predicted exactly what Punk did. He said something to the effect of "he'll go off and do other things for a few years, be drawn back to wrestling, and within a decade or so be back in WWE"

Jericho is one of the most charismatic wrestlers in wrestling history. He has stayed revalent in wrestling for over 30 years

If Bret can come back and shake hands with Shawn in the middle of the ring then Punk returning shouldn’t be a surprise.

Always been a huge fan of Jericho. I loved it when he became the first undisputed champ and then the first AEW champ. What a career.

My favorite lines from Jericho. “Ass clown 🤡 “ & “Would you please shut the hell up!” Ahhh great times!

I love Jericho. I know he said he doesn’t want it or care, but seeing him in the WWE HoF would be awesome.

I like how Jericho dismisses AEW's botching Punk while he was there. They had more viewers and he still is a top merchandise seller for them. And he actually had a show built for him. We wouldn't be seeing Punk in WWE right now if Tony Khan was any kind of leader. He allowed immature boys the EVPs and their friends to run off the biggest draw they had. And now he's back in WWE selling a ton of merchandise and bringing more eyes to WWE again.

I noticed how after the fight with Perry, Jericho has had nothing but good things to say about CM Punk

I think Jericho is ultimately right with his take. It’s possible that Punk in AEW just didn’t mesh well with their culture. That doesn’t mean he’s a “cancer” or a huge issue. Jericho had similar problems with talent in his day. It’s also possible that Punk has a problem-free run in WWE. Not sure why everyone has to be so antagonistic about it. I think we can see Punk and AEW execs didn’t get along at all, and I think we can see he’s going to have zero issues in the WWE because of its rigid hierarchy in modern times. Win-win.

With all the attention & sold out arenas for WWE, I bet Jericho is probably thinking about making Tony Khan fear for his life so he can also go back home.
