If a licensed therapist diagnosed you with autism that is considered a CLINICAL diagnosis. If you merely think you have it with nothing confirmed by a medical professional, that's a self-diagnosis. There's nothing to debate about that.

I'm with Al when it comes to how we're portrayed in the media. They always grab animated people like her and interview them.

I had a major surgery a few months ago, and my half-sister, whom I helped raised, and babysit her 4 children whenever she travels or stressed out, never called or checked on me for 2 whole months, blaming it on her busy schedule. I've completely stopped talking to her, and she feels that I am a grudge holder as she has already apologized. Go figure! If someone cares about you, they'll check in on you. Love who loves you!!

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

I’m socially awkward. I self-diagnosed myself with ASD, even challenged mental health professionals that told me I wasn’t, and later in adulthood was referred to a specialist who confirmed I WAS NOT on the spectrum. While I do have a lot of the social components, I’m missing the physical. Just because there’s something there, doesn’t mean that’s what it is.

No we gon call a spade a spade when it comes to Amanda. She SELF diagnosed Al, which means she just said it and It’s very convenient that she SELF diagnosed once folks started calling out her behavior. She needed an excuse for her behavior so she claimed autism, period. Let’s be honest about it. Al naming folks who are CLINICIANSSSSSSS who can diagnose. Amanda is not a clinician, bffr.

Everyone has mental health issues. There are levels to mental health. We don't live in a perfect world. Nobody is perfect. Denial is a lack of self awareness.
