*Davion Mitchell to the Raptors trade*: Am I a joke to you? 😭
  • Leon rose is very quickly adding his name to the list of top executives in the league
  • People really tip their hands when Giannis and Thanassis gets to be funny and cool but LeBron and Bronny is some huge outrage
  • 5 first rounders and a swap does look like a ridiculous overpay for Mikal Bridges in a vacuum. However, i think this trade really shouldn't be evaluated in a vacuum from a Knicks POV. Off the top of my head, in the last two seasons, the FO has acquired: -Brunson, Bridges, OG, DiVincenzo, Josh Hart and Hartenstein And lost: -RJ Barrett, Quickley, Bogdanovic, Quentin Grimes and 6 first rounders. I don't see a GM in the league who wouldn't agree to a line of transactions which ends up with that overall outlook.
  • Wolves traded 2031 1st and the 2030 was a pick swap. Big difference especially if Ant stays.
  • One of the best things about having Murray in a situation where Ingram stays in NO is that BI is incredibly effective in the short actions near the paint. I think Antonio Daniels (one of the pelican casters) harped about it for years now. Ingram is a good ball handler, especially for his length, but it can be very hard for him with all the defensive attention, to get in his lethal range if he's starting all the way out at the 3 point line. Instead of just being used off-ball, having a quicker guard like Murray open things up and maybe set him up at this 'one-dribble' spot, where he is just massively effective, (regardless of defense) would really work in their favor. The Pelicans never really had another ball handler outside of their wings BI and Zion. CJ does have a very good handle, but he doesn't really have the creation that we tend to see in top PG's, he's more of a shooting guard that can do a bit of creation on the side. Regardless of anything, if Ingram stays, he needs to increase his volume as a threepoint shooter. In the 2022-2023 season, he was pretty efficient for longer stretches and he also tends to hit them when it matters. (a bit like SGA does, who also doesn't take enough threes) I like his game everywhere else, his midrange is top notch, his scoring at the rim is very underrated and he just came off the best defensive season of his career, meanwhile he is pretty much the best playmaking wing in the league, finding teammates at impossible angles at times without even looking. Also, just in case he or Zion is out for another stretch time, the team can still get by perfectly fine on one of them, I think they have proven that much for now. With Murray in the mix, this should be even better.

This is Micheal Kidd gilchrist all over again charlotte
  • I am not trading a 24 and 10 power forward that commanded the 5th most double teams in the entire NBA, who can bring the ball up and play bully ball for...cap space and individual pieces, old Paul George, Kevin Durant, or anybody who is not the lead center from Milwaukee.
  • In the 2013 draft, analyst were saying it was one of the weakest draft years in history of NBA. And for the most part, they were correct. Only 1 person drafted in the top 10 has made an all-star team (Victor Oladipo) . Only 2 other players from that draft have made an all-star team. However one of those is currently a top 4 player in the league (Giannis who was picked at #15) and the other is a generational defensive player (Rudy Gobert who was picked #27). So yeah, even though the #13-30 pick might not look good now, who knows what happens in 3-5 years. They could be a top 10 player.

Honestly with the trade the Mavericks did not only does it free up 12 million so they can re-sign at Derrick Jones Jr but it also gives them a Solid 3 and D guy in Grimes
  • Came from the update video on the other channel. I appreciate the honesty. Two videos from the old days that are shorter but were good and I think would be interesting to revisit are the one where you ranked single championship NBA teams (1971 Bucks weren’t even mentioned but the 1967 Sixers were), and the forgotten primes series (I wish I could find the Ray Allen video)
  • @pedroarsousa
“You shouldn’t be mean to the kid, blame the organisation” Proceeded to tear a new one to a kid for the crime of being one dimensional 😂
  • Yea idk y people r mad at the Bronny thing he got picked 55 in a weak draft I wouldn’t be mad if a team selected a player from ymca with that pick if they think they have potential which bronny is a clear athlete with potential!
  • You don’t trade Randle…… With OG and Randle, they were 20-2. Randle was playing great ball
  • @ThunderTalk
Josh Giddey 33.7% from 3 last season (league avg) And I bet he improves this upcoming season
  • Knicks have all core dudes under contract and in their prime. Picks mean nothing if your team is going to be good for the foreseeable future. It’s not like they traded for over the hill superstar wanting to ring chase
  • Then lets not forget or gloss over the fact the Warriors became the biggest scumbag organization in the NBA by blocking Wiggins from playing for Team Canada in the upcoming Olympics. Then this whole situation is SOOO much worse since Kerr is coach of team USA and still letting Curry play for the USA team. Canada is the biggest threat for the USA going into the Olympics after beating them in the World Cup for the Bronze metal, and now the match up is worse because the Warriors decided to Block Wiggins who would have been the 3rd Star for the Canadian team. #FreeWiggins
