Unnecessary? I still cry every time I re-read The High Cost Of living after 20 years...
  • Honestly you can find most of these books as floppies in shop dollar bins. Which I think is a lot more fun way to search out comics, plus you get the original experience of reading the book with all the ads and letters columns and so on.

I bought this collection not long ago and it is beautiful! :)
  • Here's a video idea for ya (to ignore!): an overview of the once popular phenomenon of the comic book "swimsuit issue."
  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE that intro, is beautifull. Remembers me "Peer Gynt - Morning Mood" by Edvard Grieg.

The High Cost Of living always stuck with me. The idea that death itself didnt have to be horrid but a kindness. That and I've always had a thing for pale goth girls :P
  • Bought this recently when it was on sale at Comixology so that I could have a digital copy for my tablet. I travel a lot and like to keep favorite books on hand. Your review, as always, is very well considered. Not just for those of us familiar with the character, but maybe for those who have yet understand what is so interesting about this version of Death.

Gaiman more loved and enduring creation, a post punk Death, genius
  • I like you cover characters I've seen and heard about but never gotten to read their stories
