Should I do another deeper dive into PrivateGPT and actually build something with it?
  • So great to invite the authors of all these awesome open source tools. This really gives a face to the technology we use.

For those getting an error on the poetry install, it has recently changed to this: poetry install --extras "ui"

One of my fav channels. Great topics, perfect pacing. Keep it going!

Dude, this was incredible. Great content and you've earned yourself a new subscriber.
  • IMPORTANT FOR WINDOWS USERS: the last command, "PGPT_PROFILES=local make run" DOES NOT WORK. Instead, use "set PGPT_PROFILES=local" followed by "make run"

For on-screen installation guides, it's best to start with a clean virtual system. This ensures that no lingering dependencies from past installations affect the process. A fresh start helps avoid complications that can arise from a cluttered and outdated system environment, which may contain residual files and settings from earlier configurations.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your excellent insights, commentary, and instruction. If all your videos represent what you give out for free, I can only imagine how effective your paid consultation would be for anyone delving into the new frontier of modern AI.

I have been looking forward to this!

Great intro and although it's 5 months old now, a very useful starting point for those of us with clients who are asking about this technology. Much appreciated and cheers from Sydney - Dave

Question: is it possible to build the entire model, with source documents and everything, and distribute it as a single package download for others to use, including the source docs and everything else—i.e., for someone else to use with a specific data set, already chunked and ingested, and where the don't have to configure they just query?

I’m way too tired, my brain saw the title as “gpt to chat with your dog” and I got really excited.
  • @carloargento204
Thanks for the great video! Question: are the "Ingested files" cached and saved somewhere? Or do I have to upload them through the UI every time I run the project?
  • Can you do a video of deploying this to production? THAT WILL BE SUPER USEFUL!
  • @tylerdurden4285
I misread the thumbnail title as "Chat With Dogs" and got excited. 🐕🐶
  • @EduardoJGaido
Thank you for the video. Is there any local model you know that can be, instead of connected to documents, connected to a database? I'd love a tutorial about that.
  • @ManiSaintVictor
Thank you. Clear, step-by-step and easy to follow. Up and running
