IO stole Midas’ whole schtick. They may have a device of their own, but it’ll never have the flare and pizazz that Midas’ had. Plus, none else will be more cool than the Device Event

The collider might act just like the Hadron Collider. It could make the zero point energy collide together and release massive shockwave and/or energy beams

I’m genuinely getting so pumped for the event. The rumours of piloting the Mech with Paradigm, like something out of Pacific Rim, and the leaked quest lines foretelling what The Collider is capable of are so nerve wracking. I haven’t been this excited for a lore-related event since Galactus paid us a visit. Godspeed, fellow Loopers…

I really hope the Mech gets a new design and skin style for the event and Paradigm, the original variant, returns to the shop. Edit: They are doing it. And Im happy.

The collider energy looks very similar to the orange zero point energy that Midas used back in c2s2 to push back the storm

My theory on the collider is it’s gonna bring in enemies of the seven from across the Omni verse Remember Prowler is in this battle pass And into the spider verse (which prowler is in) had its own collider which was used to access other universes

The new room at comand cavern is a IO server. Its for a resistance task.

The water is likely being used as a coolant for the doomsday device, similar to the real world with things like nuclear power plants.

Why does the new flag sitting over the Seven-conquered cities look like a stylised version of the collider? More importantly, Peeley NEEDS to be the new mech driver!! It's what he's been training for the entire season!

The collider reminded me instantly of inside the citadel. When breen he was in is his teleportation orb

Adam, hear me out. The disastrous thing Paradigm did that nobody knows yet, back in chapter 1 season X Live Event we saw one of the Seven rockets crash into the force field of the Zero point so that the meteor could hit it head on. I believe Paradigm was the one in that Rocket. Thoughts?

Maybe they are only keeping the water away so it won't disturb the machine any more

I rewatched the season 8 chapter 2 live event, and those orange rays of light on the Collider look eerily similar to the ones that the Cube Queen shoots when she spawns from the Golden Cube

As @Joey Ramirez has picked up on, the orange energy at the collider looks strangely similar to that used by the Cube Queen from Chapter 2 Season 8. This also explains why the IO would keep water away from it, as water is known to neutralise the Cube Queen’s power.
